Dove Wood Stove Glass

Image
Dove began around the mid 80's. The Dove Stove  name was trademarked by Buckner Enterprises Corporation. At the time, Buckner manufactured metal parts for heating products as well as the Buck type of wood stoves. Dove eventually went out of business, which is why it is so hard to find any information on them.  The history of Buckner Enterprises/Dove started "in 1975 when Carrol Buckner invented the legendary Buck Stove, a new wood-burning stove including a three-speed motor, making the pot-bellied stove obsolete. Ten years later, Carrol went on to invent the corn burning stove.  Technology that provided a safe, clean, affordable heat from America’s fastest growing renewable source of energy, shelled field corn kernels.  A corn stove that is still heating many homes today. They call it Buckner Heat Our corn stoves, made over 20 years ago, are still being used in homes today.  Our units are UL listed and EPA exempt. Quitting their positions in the lumber industry, Dave and Al went full force into creating something special. Using their Eugene, Oregon homes as their launching pad, their results gave us the beginnings of what we know today as Breckwell stoves. In the spring of 1987, Dave and Al built and tested the first pellet stove inser
