This Country Flame Wood Stove Glass is a pyroceramic glass. Able to withstand temperatures of up to 1470 degrees F. We always recommend you measure your glass to make sure that the Glass is correct for you.
"The Country Flame brand is owned by American Energy Systems based in Hutchinson, MN. CF was started in 1976 and first produced a product called a "Smart Fireplace." This product became quite popular and gradually began to sell catalytic stoves that it has developed. CF quickly grew to become one of the largest sells of stoves in the market. Today Flame sells a diverse product line and has a focus on renewable resources. CF currently markets fireplaces, fireplace doors, fireplace inserts, and both catalytic and non-catalytic stoves. The company has over 35,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities and also employs over 65 people. The company also owns the Magnum brand (corn stoves) as well."

The history of this stove maker starts in 1976. The initial company was called Mount Vernon Fireplaces and was located in the same named city in Missouri. The initial model was called the "Smart Fireplace". Its main innovation was the ability to be ducted throughout the house, unlike a normal fireplace. The Smart Fireplace is still in existence today. Country Flame has recently received the Vesta Award for innovation in its corn burning line and was an award finalist for its Inglenook model as well. It has since transferred its name from Mt. Vernon to new owners.
American Energy Systems now carry the line along with their Magnum line of products. The same Country Flame quality is there though.

Product Line
Country has a diverse product line. The company does not carry as many products as some of the global brands, but the product line does cover a lot of areas. In terms of fireplaces and hearth products, the company offers fireplaces and inserts as well as a couple of types of stoves. The sections below will provide further details on the Country Flame product line.
Fireplaces
There are two main fireplaces in the Country Flame product line; the Inglenook zero-clearance fireplace and the Smart Fireplace. The Smart Fireplace is a strong fireplace that provides 175,000 BTU per hour and connects to a home's ducts and venting to provide more effective heating from the fireplace. The Inglenook is a wood burning fireplace that is EPA certified zero-clearance.
Wood Stoves
Country Flame makes both catalytic and non-catalytic versions of wood stoves. The catalytic versions of the wood stoves include the BBF Model and BFF inserts along with the Model 02 insert. The non-catalytic versions include the Ovation models like the Ovation 2600, Ovation 3000, Ovation 2100, and the Ovation Flame Insert. These stoves are available in black gold or nickel colors.
Pellet Stoves
The company also makes two pellet stove models that can use pellets as the fuel type and also provide efficiency benefits. The two models of pellet stoves are the Little Rascal and the Crossfire stove models. These stoves are also available in the same three colors as the wood stoves that the company offers.
Corn Stoves
In addition to wood and pellet, the company also makes corn stoves. These are designed to provide consumers an alternative to costly fuel types in a time of rising energy prices. The name of the pellet stoves the company offers are the Harvester Corn Stove and the Crossfire Corn Insert. The company also markets a larger range of corn stoves under the Maganum brand.
